Arclin has a history of paying close attention to the footprint we leave on the environment. We were at the forefront of the industry 15 years ago when we installed state-of-the-art devices that eliminate over 95% of the total emissions produced by our facilities, investments that were beyond the legal regulatory requirements at that time. Today, meeting – and exceeding – environmental guidelines is still an objective built into all our business practices.

Our approach is a proactive one. From being an active member of the Formaldehyde Council to recycling up to 100% of our wastewater at facilities, we are constantly applying the same innovation we bring to your business to our own practices as well.

Our investment in sustainability:

  • Raw paper for our overlays comes from sustainable forestry practices
  • Alternative fuel pellet creation from waste products
  • Support of reliable, clean energy sources

Our investment in waste reduction:

  • Six Sigma benchmarks for waste reduction
  • State recognition of pollution control programs
  • Decrease of 1.6 million pounds of annual landfill waste between 2002 and 2005
  • Closed-loop chilling systems to eliminate cooling water discharge
  • Air pollution control devices that meet or exceed MACT standards

Our investment in recycling:

  • Office and other waste
  • Solvent and used oil waste recovery
  • Active storm water control and recycling plans
  • Consistently applied research and development of alternative raw materials and reduce hazardous components
  • Committed water reduction and recycling programs to reduce the dependence on valuable ground water

We believe in looking ahead and understand that our practices today will impact tomorrow. This is the keystone of our partnership with you – we improve your processes and your products today to keep you profitable. Likewise, looking ahead is how we continue to make a positive impact on the environment.

At Arclin, our goal is to set the pace as an industry leader in creating more sustainable manufacturing processes that benefit future generations.
