The Ingredients of Green™
Arclin applies its proprietary E-Gen® designation only to its products that are specifically engineered to meet or exceed existing product performance standards and to reduce manufacturing and downstream environmental impact. It’s our commitment to sustainability and what we consider our role as a responsible corporate citizen.
Arclin’s E-Gen®-designated products are also designed to provide greater market and economic opportunity for our customers, as more are looking to their partners to help meet demands for greener products.
E-Gen®-designated products meet our own stringent set of criteria for both product and environmental performance. To qualify, E-Gen® products:
- are third-party certified via the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system, GREENGUARD for Children & SchoolsSM, the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), ULEF, ENERGY STAR or other high performance industry standards, and/or
- contribute to third-party certification for our customers via LEED credits, GREENGUARD Children & SchoolsSM, ULEF, ENERGY STAR, and others. “The ingredients of green,” they’re integral to our customers’ abilities to qualify for valuable downstream assessment, where applicable, and/or
- meet regulatory compliance standards, such as CARB Phase 2 for emissions or other forms of environmental impact, where applicable, and/or
- where third-party validation is not yet available, net significant and attributable reduction in environmental impact in both manufacturing and downstream performance, such as reduced or improved air emissions, markedly reduced use of energy or natural resources, improved quality of natural resources through alternative technologies
