In soft armor, Kevlar® EXO™ fiber is used to create flexible and durable fabrics to stop threats and still be comfortable to wear. In hard armor, Kevlar® EXO™ can be used to create lighter weight armor which stops the threat, provides multi hit protection and reduces trauma injuries.
CoreMatrix™ technology
With Kevlar® EXO™, CoreMatrix™ uses needle punching to carry short fibers through stacked woven layers. Those through-thickness connections reduce complex stitching and build time while retaining flexibility.
