Arclin® Nomex® Comfort with EcoForce™ Finish is designed specifically for workers in the chemical and pharma industries, as well as research & lab environments— offering FR protection in accordance with NFPA 2112. In addition, it offers limited protection against small quantities and splashes of targeted liquid chemicals.

Significant wash durability of Nomex® Comfort with EcoForce™ Finish fabric can reduce the need for reimpregnation when compared with existing solutions.

Meets AATCC testing
A modified AATCC 193 test was performed on Nomex® Comfort with EcoForce™ Finish fabrics to assess splash resistance.
An "A" rating signifies no interaction with the fabric and a "D" rating signifies complete wetting of the chemical to the fabric. Nomex® Comfort with EcoForce™ Finish received an “A” rating.

In addition, Nomex® Comfort with EcoForce™ Finish helps provide resistance to penetration from chemical splashes with corrosive liquids as well as strong oxidizers, including piranha solution –a mixture of sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide– that is used to clean laboratory glassware.
